Luma is a project I did for an animation directing course I took. All images and storyboards were created using Midjourney. The animation was created through an artificial intelligence video creation called Hailuo AI
“When I came back to myself” is an inspiring short animated film about lost dreams and the path back to yourself. The story follows Mira - from a curious child with a rich imagination to a mature woman who has lost touch with her creative self. Her imaginary companion - the fantastic catLuma - remains deeply hidden in a sketchbook until Mira dares to go Japanese again. Luma's rebirth becomes a symbol of innerawakening and acceptance. This is a film about hope, about the quiet voices that never leave us, and about the power to come back to ourselves - when we need it most.
